2017 - Kudus Emerging Art + Design Award
Through this body of work, the artist presents masked Iranian female faces as a means of interrogating self-image, identity, gender constructs, and the complex interplay between cultural and religious constraints. The masked visages serve not only as symbols of concealment, but also as powerful metaphors for the psychological and societal pressures endured by women.

In Unnamed 6, the artist envisions a moment of imagined liberation what might emerge if this woman was freed from her suffocating burdens. It is a meditation on release, transcendence, and the possibility of ecstasy in the face of repression.
